How long should I leave permanent hair dye in? When colouring your hair with permanent hair dye, you can typically leave the formula on for 30 to 45 minutes. The Garnier GOOD Permanent Hair Dye can be left on your hair for up to 30 minutes to achieve intense, glossy colour. After rinsing, follow with the sachet of conditioner included in your tub.

Can I wash my hair after permanent dye? After you have rinsed out your permanent hair dye and conditioned the hair, we generally recommend that you wait about 48 hours before properly washing your hair with your usual shampoo and conditioner. This gives the colour pigments a chance to settle into the hair to preserve your colour for longer.
